“MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL OF LOVE” PROGRAM 2018

In order to promote amusement activities for children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the corporation’s youth union organization held the 6th “Mid-Autumn Festival of love” program 2018 lasting from 22 to 23 September 2018 in Binh Son commune, Phu Rieng district, Binh Phuoc province.

This is a program jointly held by the youth union organizations in the corporation. It was joined by more than 50 youth union members from various sources.

This was the 6th time the corporation’s youth union had held the Mid-Autumn Festival program for children in some of the localities. In addition to the Mid-Autumn gift portions offered to the children, this year’s program awarded 30 scholarships and 12 bicycles to poor children and created a recreation ground for them. The youth union members held life skills enhancement games for the children with more than 1,000 gift portions handed over and musical and magical performances for more than 800 ethnic minority children. The Mid-Autumn amusement program cost over VND 100 million, which was contributed by the corporation’s clerical Trade Union (VND 50 million) and the clerical staff and the members that joined the program (the remaining amount).

A recreation ground for the children

The 6th Mid-Autumn amusement program 2018 was a success, helping to express the Corporation’s CSR. It enhanced the image of the SAMCO brand in the localities where the program took place.

Also on this occasion, the Corporation’s Youth Union visited and offered incense and flowers at the Phu Rieng historical site (Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province), Hung Vuong Temple and President Ho Chi Minh memorial house (Phu Rieng district, Binh Phuoc province).
