Summation Conference on corporation’s 2017 Youth Union activities and youth movements and 2018 Youth Union objectives and tasks set forth

On January 26, 2018, Saigon Transportation Mechanical Corporation’s Youth Union held a congress to review the 2017 Youth Union work and youth movements and approve 2018 objectives and tasks set forth. Mr. Nguyen Hong Anh - corporate Party Committee Secretary and Members’ Council Chairman - attended the congress and gave his directive speech.

Also among those attending the congress were a representive from the City Youth Union’s executive committee, those from the City Youth Union’s boards, standing representatives from grassroots Youth Union organizations in the City Youth Union Transport Construction, members of the standing committee, those of the executive committee of affiliated grassroots youth unions and typical youth union members of units.

The congress summarized the results achieved, especially the 12 key tasks performed in 2017, learning its lessons from it and set forth objectives and tasks for 2018. Accodingly, the corporate youth union would develop 10 key tasks to perform in 2018 and launch a campaign “SAMCO youth as pioneers in creative integration to satisfactorily fulfil the tasks entrusted” to implement the youth union’s year theme “Year of creative youths” and the corporation’s “Creative integration.”

Giving a directive speech at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Hong Anh - corporate Party Committee Secretary and Members’ Council Chairman - highly appreciated the results achieved in the 2017 youth union work and youth movements, at the same time commission the corporate youth union organization to keep creatively implementing the programs and activities in order to realize the resolution adopted by the 3rd-tenure corporate Youth Union Congress, contributing to the implementation the political task at the units as well as the resolution adpted by the 3rd tenure (2015 – 2020) Party Committee Congress. In 2018, with the theme “Creative integration,” Mr. Nguyen hong Anh requested the youth union to set forth programs and measures to concretize the creative integration in the youth union work and youth movements.

Also in this event, the corporate youth union honorably received a certificate of merit from the Youth Union Central Committee and an emulation flag from the City Youth Union Standing Committee for the unit taking the lead in the emulation.

In addition, 4 grassroots Youth Union organizations including the Youth Union of the corporation, that of Saigon Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company, that of Eastern Coach Station Single-Member Company, Ltd., and Youth Union branch of Toyota Ben Thanh Motor Company were awarded certificates of merit by the Youth Union Central Committee for their excellent achievements in 2017 Youth Union work and youth movements.

The City Youth Union Standing Board also awarded certificates of merit to 8 excellent grassroots-level Youth Union units from An Lac Auto Mechanical Enterprise, Western Coach Station Joint Stock Company, Ben Nghe Port Single-Member Company, Ltd.; and Youth Union branches from Toyotsu Samco Auto Company, Ltd., Isuzu An Lac Auto Service Enterprise, Industrial and Motor Service Enterprise, An Lac Special Purpose Vehicle Mechanical Enterprise, and Isuzu Vietnam Auto Company, Ltd.

The corporate Youth Union awarded emulation flags to groups and and certificates of merit to 33 individuals for their excellent achievements in 2017 Youth Union work and youth movements.
