SAMCO’s rehearsal of fire fighting

In response to the “Day for the whole population to participate in fire prevention and fighting” on October 4, 2017, SAMCO Building Management Board coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department in District 1 to conduct a firefighting rehearsal at the parking building located at 326 Vo Van Kiet St.

Fire trucks of the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police force will be mobilized in case of a fire alarm from the building.

The rehearsed situations included giving the fire alarm in case of a fire on the 5th floor of the building (lot B), rescue and evacuation of the victims from the fire, and combined firefighting between the building’s firefighters and those from the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department.

The rehearsal mobilized 5 vehicles of all types (Ford-CH, Man, Isuzu, an aerial ladder truck, fire truck) and a fire pump combined with 30 fire prevention and fighting policemen.

In realization of the rehearsal, an aerial ladder truck is used to rescue victims trapped on the 5th floor of the building.

The rehearsal last for 30 minutes, fulfilling as required by the plan set forth and ensuring safety for the people and facilities engaged in the rehearsal. Then The parties involved had a meeting for an after-action review concerning the firefighting rehearsal at the 326 Vo Van Kiet building.
