The trip achieved its purpose of propaganda by helping people from all walks of life enhance their awareness of the borders and islands. In addition, the delegation took this opportunity to share difficulties with the forces defending the country’s border. This is one of the frequent activities held by the HCM City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, with its expenditure drawn from the fund “For the native land’s sea and islands.” As an annual contribution to the fund, SAMCO Corporation in 2018 contributed VND 800 million.
