Inauguration of SAMCO Special Purpose Vehicle Factory
On the morning of 21 September 2018, the SaigonTransportation Mechanical Corporation (SAMCO) inaugurated its SAMCO Special Purpose Vehicle Factory at the HCM City Auto Mechanical Industrial Park in Thanh Dong Commune, Cu Chi District, HCM City.

The factory covers an area of 40,000 m2 with a production capacity of 500 special purpose vehicles and equipment items per year. This is a factory equipped with modern machinery that can meet manufacture standards for special purpose vehicles and equipment items as stipulated by the government.

The factory specializes in manufacturing SAMCO-brand special purpose vehicles and equipment items including garbage compactor truck, stationary garbage compactor, road sprinkler truck, sewage suction truck, crane truck, aerial work platform truck, and various fire trucks. The factory manufactures based on a high-quality technical standard

Over the past years, SAMCO Special Purpose Vehicle Factory has supplied the market with various high-quality products that are suitable to Vietnam’s operation condition and gain the confidence of the consumers. Some of the products used for environmental sanitation were exported to the regional countries such as Laos and Cambodia. Many of the products manufactured by the factory were registered for their patents with the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.

The factory put into operation, SAMCO hopes to become a positive factor for the labor market in Cu Chi District, in which a self-motivated industrial workforce that was professionally trained will help impulse the local economic development.
